  Food was awful. Meat was dry , potatoes dry , gravy no taste and cauliflower cheese was like a bullet and could not cut it. And on top of that some joker put pepper in with the salt and spoilt my daughter's food and the only thing said by staff is we can change the potatoes if we want. This place used to be great years ago. I certainly won't be going again

  First visit. Even though l had the small carvery lt would have been better on a bigger plate as the food was very good value is plenty of meat and good selection of veg. Unfortunately the Cranberry sauce bowl was empty and what was left of the gravy was cold. My other complaint being that there seemed to be a lack of staff, l was part of a party and we had to clear our own tables!
