  One if very few "nicer" restaurants in proximity to the University campus. We went as a party of 5 on the January graduation day. Whilst it was busy, staff were still very helpful and able to move our booking forward. Great selection of ales and cocktails while waiting. Assortment of starters and Mains which were all very well received. The steak was possibly the most flavourful cut I've ever tasted. Top, top marks!

  Lovely old converted building with a modern extension with a mix of new and old décor that is really tastefully done. Food is great, quality pub food with great fresh ingredients. Nice wine list and always very good service. A fair amount of parking out front and behind the building. Good size portions and I have never felt rushed to move on despite the fact it is often very busy. Bookings recommended especially on weekends.

  Great food, excellent customer service and a first class restaurant. The only slight issue is due to its popularity you have to book if you want to go in an evening, so you can't go if you are feeling spontaneous. The lunch menu is great but you can even choose from the evening if you wish. I would also recommend getting a taxi or going slightly earlier, as you may have to wait for a car park space or be prepare to find somewhere to park and walk. However I would highly recommend and we do go often.

  Loved it! Food was spot on and survice was grate but the toilets were hard to find but I found them in the end. If there were some signs and that would've made it easier.
